Delivery
In addition to the information on this page please see the information page on the use of the Collect+ delivery service for our UK customers
We accept orders for both UK and Overseas delivery. Some of our products are not suitable for delivery outside of the UK and these will be identified in the listing. By the UK we mean the Mainland UK only. Orders placed for these products outside of the Mainland UK will be cancelled and a full refund made.
Our system will calculate the shipping cost for most countries. Where you believe the shipping cost to be above reasonable, please contact us by email before you purchase and we will validate the system calculated cost. Note that this situation is only likely to occur for countries that do not have traditional trading links with the UK where we have to arrange a courier delivery as a result of the combined weight of the shipment
Where an option for free delivery is shown in the price panel on checkout, you may select this if it is for UK postal area only. The system will show free shipping automatically if it is offered on selected products. Where free shipping items are mixed with non free shipping items, no free shipping allowance is made in the calculation. They should be ordered separately.
We endeavour to ship orders within 24 hours of order and typically for items over 2Kg in weight, they will be dispatched via courier. Delivery times vary according to destination but for most UK mainland locations it will be next working day when dispatched by courier. The Highlands and Islands of Scotland may take up to 3 days. We cannot be held responsible for shipping delays by the Royal Mail or our courier service providers
Should an item be out of stock and cannot be restocked within 3 working days of your order, we will contact you with details of when the item can be delivered and offer to cancel the order and provide a full refund.

Damaged Goods
Please inspect items before signing for them from any courier service. Any damage should be noted as an exception on the courier delivery form. Items accepted without notifying the courier of damage cannot be replaced or refunded.
Advise us immediately in writing of any such damages recorded so that we may make a claim on your behalf with the courier.
Warranty.
All goods carry a 12 month warranty from the date of dispatch. Claims under warranty must be made in writing to Auto Essentials Limited and a Return Materials Authorisation number (RMA) must be obtained prior to returning the goods. Goods must be dispatched using a delivery service that obtains a signature on delivery, without proof of delivery, we cannot entertain replacing defective items lost in transit back to our offices.
Unwanted Goods
Auto Essentials Limited will provide a full refund for goods identified to us in writing as being unwanted within 14 days of receipt of the goods by you. The goods must be undamaged and in their original packaging and must be returned complete and be suitable for resale. A Return Materials Authorisation number (RMA) must be obtained prior to returning the goods and they must dispatched using a delivery service that obtains a signature on delivery. You are responsible for all shipping costs.
Note there are some products that we provide which cannot be dispatched via the Royal Mail and special arrangements must be made with Couriers to accept the products for delivery. These products are identified in the listing and cannot be accepted for return unless you can identify a delivery service that is willing to deliver the goods back to us. In all cases an RMA must be obtained and proof of delivery must also be obtained. The full cost of shipping these items back to us must be borne by the purchaser.
Goods dispatched outside the EC
We cannot accept any returns whotsoever for any goods deliverd to a customer outside of the European Community Countries. While we are pleased to assist our overseas customers in ensuring that the product they are buying meets their requirements prior to purchase, We cannot accept responsibility for the items being incorrect or unwanted once they have been received in a counry outside the EC.
